The network.ovl connects highwire to the internet, using either MiNT or STiK/STinG compatible stacks.

Support for https protocol is not yet available.

Installation: Highwire will access the file "network.ovl" inside the folder "modules". This file shall be a copy of or symlink to the actual network overlay. iconnect.ovl: for Use with iconnect stik2.ovl: for use with STiK 2 or GlueSTiK sting.ovl: for use with STinG or GlueSTiK

In order display content from online sources, these are downloaded to the local cache and highwire will load them from there. Therefore, the cache directory must be set in highwire.cfg and the cache must be enabled to do online browsing.
